  Government’s Response to Review of the Accident Towing Roster Scheme
  The Government has released its response to the National Competition Policy Review of the Accident Towing Scheme. Comments received during the public consultation on the NCP Review were taken into account by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure in making recommendations to the Minister for Transport for the development of the Government response. Regulations are being drafted to implement the Government response.

  Review of the Accident Towing in Country Centres
  The consultation period for the report on the Review of Accident Towing in Country Centres closed on 13 February 2004. Comments are currently being analysed and will be considered by the Department in forming recommendations to the Minister for Transport and will contribute to the development of any amendments to the Motor Vehicles Act and regulations that may result.
